•          League Designed For 4 Year Olds To Learn A Little Bit About Baseball

–      Players must be born after May 1, 2007 and before April 30, 2008

–        Baseball diamond is 20 feet square  

–        Overall – Team Work and Coordination

–        Offensively – Hit The Ball

–        Defensively – Soft Hands Catching A Rolling Grounder

·          $90 Registration Fee + Processing Fees Includes a fun filled 6 game season. Each child will receive a baseball cap, t-Shirt, photo pack and season end trophy.

·          Ideally 4 - 6 Players on A Team

•          No Score – Just For Fun

•          Parents Required to Be Present at Games and Assist Their Child On The Field

–        Each batter hits the ball and circles all 4 bases

–        One Team Rotation Constitutes ½ Inning.

•          Outs

–        Just For Fun – Picking Up The Ball and Holding It Above A Defensive Players Head Constitutes An Out. Outs Do No Count

•          Game

–        3 Innings or 1/2 Hour Maximum

•          Season

–        5 Game Season – Weather Permitting

•          Safety

–        Only ONE Plastic Wiffle Bat Present During A Game

–        Prevents A Child Getting Hit

–        Prevents Sword Fights

–        Parent Protection From Getting A Stick Where It Does Not Belong

–        No Sliding

–        No Piling on while fielding a ball

–        Do not interfere with a player running the bases

•          Equipment

–        Thin Yellow Wiffle Bat (24” Wiffle Ball Jr.)

–        Softball Size Wiffle Balls With Elongated Slots

–        No Round Hole Balls

–        Baseball gloves optional

–        Rubber  throw down bases by Franklin

–        Batting Tee – Franklin/Black Rubber

•          Team Selection

–        Team selection will be made by the Wiffle Ball Commissioner.

–        Buddy Request’s Will Be Honored for Those Children Whose Parents Volunteer to Manage a Team

–        Manager Roles and Responsibilities: Attend a Managers meeting. Conduct a team meeting to distribute uniforms and information packs. Single point of communication for the team.
