Finding parking around Trinta Park is not as easy as it once was. Caltrain crews installed fencing along the right of way just south of the Hayward Park station several years ago. This is part of a multi-year project begun to fence one side of the entire Caltrain right of way between San Francisco and San Jose to make the tracks safer. It's very dangerous for people to cross anywhere except designated crossings, and the agency is using the fencing to try to prevent people from being on the tracks where they're not supposed to be. Because of this, however, a large section of land just south of our diamonds is no longer available for parking. If you are visiting Trinta Park on a busy day, you may want to allow yourself more time to find parking.
Parking may be easiest on 19th Avenue, Palm and Leslie Street or the Hayward Park Caltrain Lot or Pacific Blvd, where you can use the overhead pedestrian walkway, or the walkway through the train station. Please remember that we are adjacent to a residential area and be mindful of our neighbors. The area highlighted in red in the picture below is no longer available for parking. The areas marked in yellow are available for parking. Please keep in mind that some areas, closer to the North Field, are marked as "Foul Ball Areas." Parking near the park is at your own risk as baseballs have been known to occasionally hit cars!
